Summary

This course in comprehensive nursing care in nephrological processes offers specialized training in the field. Nephrology is the part of medicine that deals with anatomy, physiology and kidney diseases. Hence, the importance of studying everything related to exploration methods in nephrology, the syndromes involved, the actions, management, care and feeding of the patient. In the field of nursing, it is necessary to know the different processes related to nephrological processes. Thus, with this course in comprehensive nursing care in the nephrological processes, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the student to reach a specialized training in nurse care regarding nephrological processes.

Goals

- Know the anatomy of the kidney, dealing with its functions and its vascularization, as well as the nephron route. - Relate renal physiology to its anatomy, emphasizing the homeostatic functions of the kidneys and knowing what the filtration and reabsorption and secretion processes consist of. -Analize the different exploration tests, diagnosis by image, urine study and renal biopsy that can be performed for the detection of renal alteration. - Know the nursing care process dealing with the valuation, diagnosis, planning, execution and evaluation. - Analyze nursing care to the acute patient affecting the protocol of the acute nephrology unit, as well as in the dialysis of the patient found in that unit.
