- Communicate and serve customers in upholstery establishments, using the usual basic protocols to communicate effectively with customers. - Receive the materials for the upholstery, ensuring that the material corresponds to the delivery documents and store it, controlling its availability. - Recognize the fibers, threads and fabrics most used in furniture and mural upholstery processes, distinguishing them through the use of simple testing procedures. - Characterize textile products (yarns, fabrics, nonwoven fabrics) in relation to manufacturing processes. - Relate the treatments (bleaching, dyeing, dressings, among others) that must be carried out on textile materials with the characteristics that these treatments give them. - Relate the types of skins and leathers with the characteristics of the article that is going to be manufactured with them. - Distinguish the basic conditions of presentation, conservation, handling and conditioning of textiles and leather, according to their characteristics and properties.
