- Apply oil refining techniques, safely operating the equipment, to achieve the required quality in the refinery. - Identify the processing stages, infrastructures and carry out first-level preparation and maintenance operations of the production equipment of a refinery for the refining of olive oils. - Identify refinery operations to ensure the processing of the final product from central panels. - Develop appropriate analysis methods to verify the results of the samples taken during the refinery's production process. - Apply protective measures, as established, to guarantee safety during the process in the refinery. - Identify the stages of good management of waste and discharges generated in the refinery's activity, verifying that it is carried out in accordance with environmental regulations.
You will carry out your activity in the olive oil industry, both in small, medium or large companies and Cooperative Societies, with advanced or traditional technology. In small industries, you may have some responsibility in directing production. In large companies, this technician will join a work team with other people of the same level of qualification where he will carry out individual or group tasks.
This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1085 Obtaining Refined Olive Oils, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will opt to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
