Summary
Sensory integration goes beyond being a simple educational tool for students with special educational needs. Sensory stimulation is a controlled therapy whose objective is the integration of the senses and the improvement of the quality of life in all those people with a specific physical or psychic deficit. Thus, with this master's degree, the necessary knowledge will be acquired to determine the uses and applications that sensory integration has in the context of education, determining its profits for the development of teaching-learning activities.

This sensory integration course provides the student with the necessary tools to understand and stimulate growth, knowing the essential objectives of multisensory stimulation and its application, as well as somatic stimulation, vibratory stimulation and how to apply it. In addition, it provides different methodological orientations to intervene in the most correct way with students that present some type of special educational need.

This sensory integration course is aimed at all those professionals of occupational therapy who want to acquire specific training in sensory stimulation in the educational field.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
