MF1448-3 course social and community resources for people with disabilities

Within the world of sociocultural services and the community, it is necessary to know the different fields of socio -educational promotion and intervention with people with disabilities, within the training and education area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to manage social and community resources for people with disabilities.

- Detect social and community resources considering its origin and characteristics, depending on the types of the intervention collective. - Apply the strategies and guidelines for the design and generation of social and community resources relating them to the attention to the needs of people with disabilities, from an intervention approach focused on the person. - Incorporate the social and community resources known in socio -educational interventions with people with disabilities, guaranteeing the synergies and quality of the service to be provided. - Apply transmission and information techniques for people involved (users, families and interdisciplinary equipment), on social and community resources, and their possibilities, indicating the way of participating in these.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others in the public and private sphere, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team where it is inserted, in the areas of design, execution and evaluation of socio -educational intervention projects, development of accompaniment, leisure and free time actions, and in collaboration with higher level professionals, in training basic cognitive strategies, technological literacy, and intervention actions with families, which have as its purpose the promotion of personal autonomy and the social inclusion of people with disabilities.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1448_3 social and community resources for people with disabilities, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that they publish the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals from the world of sociocultural and community services, more specifically those linked to socio -educational promotion and intervention with people with disabilities, within the professional area of training and education, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to social and community resources for people with disabilities.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
