MF2196- 2 course prevention and passenger assistance in rail emergency

In the field of hospitality and tourism, it is necessary to know the different fields in the attention to passengers in rail transport, within the professional tourism area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for prevention and assistance to passengers in rail emergency.

- Apply the most common prevention systems established and the different emergency plans, identifying and applying the measures and modes of action and coordination that seek safety of the passage, the crew and the train - apply the emergency protocol in case of detecting smoke, fire on board, failure in the doors closing system or derailment, according to the standards and plans to act the main companies. He develops his activity on behalf of others, in the Department of Service on board commercial trains of transport of national, international and medium distance passengers, as well as in tourist or charter trains hired by organizations or individuals for displacements. He performs his tasks in functional dependence on the person in charge of the Passenger Attention Department, if any, or the person in charge of the means of transport and in coordination with the rest of the crew members.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF2196_2 prevention and passenger assistance in rail emergencies certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of hospitality and tourism specifically in attention to passengers in rail transport within the professional area of tourism and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to prevention and assistance to passengers in rail emergencies.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
