Summary
Nowadays, our current affairs is framed by the increase in accidents produced in places of abrupt orography, originated largely by the promotion and massification of sports practitioners related to the mountain environment, therefore, it is increasingly necessary to have a greater number of professionals in the emergency sector, which have a specific and sufficient training, to face this type of situations with minimum security guarantees. This course constitutes a first level of knowledge in terms of the techniques and the environment in which rescue operations are carried out in vertical media.

This course will provide students with the necessary skills to recognize the functions of a vertical rescue unit, familiarize the characteristics and functionalities of the different installation materials, in addition to knowing how to recognize the different types of pulleys and rappel movements.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is specifically aimed at all those whose professional work is carried out around the scope of citizen security and protection: police rescue, firefighters, civil guard, Civil Protection, Red Cross, specialized groups, etc., and those who wish to know what are the rescue techniques in vertical media, to put it into practice in their work environment, learning the appropriate techniques and tools.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
