This course in sexual orientation and gender identity prepares to know the different types of sexual orientation and gender identities, study different cases of bullying and measures to counteract them, and perform didactic activities in their professional field that deal with sexual identities, including LGBTIQ people and who are intended to fight against harassment for reasons of sexual discrimination (homo-transphobia and heterosexism).

This course in sexual orientation and gender identity is aimed at university students in the areas of Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, Law and Health Sciences, Teachers and educational staff of schools, professionals from the social, legal, psychological and health fields, mothers and fathers/guardians and tutors of children of non-regulatory sex-gender, and/or any person interested in knowing and understanding the realities of the realities of people of gender (LGBTIQ –LESBIANAS, GAYS, BISEXUAL, TRANSEXUAL, INTENSEXUAL, QUEER-, minor gender variants and LGBTIQ elderly).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
