UF2518 Course: Organization, location, diagnosis and evaluation of breakdowns or dysfunctions in the electronic systems of sports and recreational vessels

In the field of transport and maintenance of vehicles, it is necessary to know the different fields of organization and supervision of the maintenance of the systems and equipment of sports and recreational boats, within the nautical professional area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for organization, location, diagnosis and evaluation of breakdowns or dysfunctions in the electronic systems of sports and recreation vessels.

- Explain the principles and fundamentals of electricity on which the operation of the electronic systems of sports and recreation vessels is based. - Explain the foundations of the undulatory movement, radiotelephonic procedures, as well as the main related nautical concepts, and interpret the application regulations to maritime radiocommunications. - Explain the most relevant functions, laws and rules of electronics, digital techniques, and their effects, applicable to electronic sports and recreational vessel systems. - Apply localization and diagnosis techniques of breakdowns and dysfunctions in electronic systems (navigation, instrumentation and positioning, comfort and leisure, communication, help and maritime safety) of sports and recreation vessels, identifying the causes that originate them, using the established equipment and means, and relating different repair alternatives. - Establish criteria for the organization of maintenance and installation operations of electronic systems (of navigation, instrumentation and positioning, leisure and comfort and communication, help and maritime safety) of sports and recreation vessels, establishing the sequence of the operations to be carried out and the necessary means for it based on the techniques and procedures to be applied.

It develops its professional activity both on their own and on behalf of others, in small and medium -sized companies, of both public and private nature, dedicated to the construction and maintenance of sports and recreation vessels, being able to include those others of restricted length dedicated to other services or functions, as well as in companies related to the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles, depending, in their case, functional and hierarchically of a superior lower level.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF2518 training unit Organization, location, diagnosis and evaluation of breakdowns or dysfunctions in the electronic systems of sports and recreation vessel corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of transport and maintenance of vehicles, specifically in organization and supervision of maintenance and facilities of the electronic systems of sports and recreational vessels, within the nautical professional area, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the organization, location, diagnosis and evaluation of breakdowns or dysfunctions in the electronic systems of sports and recreation vessels.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
