Summary
The characterization process is increasingly required in audiovisual media. It is performed through the application of hairdressing techniques, prostheses and makeup, producing the changes that will allow adapting the physiognomy of the actor or the actress to the characteristics of the character he interprets, always taking into account also aspects of great importance that complement it such as lighting, stage, etc. This course in characterization, design of characters and special effects on makeup and hairdressing provides the necessary knowledge to carry out this process in the proper way, in addition to providing the necessary guidelines for obtaining the required results.
