Master in Disability and Inclusion: Master in Disability and Social Inclusion

People with disabilities constitute a sector of heterogeneous population that have specific needs derived from their disability situation. It is necessary to impulse measures that promote equal opportunities and suppress the inconveniences and obstacles that oppose the integral presence of people with disabilities in everyday activities. In the same way, it is necessary to enhance the development of an intervention aimed at managing the resources and services available for the social inclusion of this group, allowing the access and use of all the services, environments and processes that allow them to contribute to their capacities to the progress of society.

- Acquire training oriented towards knowledge and improvement of the living conditions of people with disabilities. - Know the existing policies and resources to offer intervention strategies oriented to the full inclusion of people with disabilities in society. - Design intervention proposals with people with disabilities in different fields (educational, social, labor, ...). - Apply strategies to promote the self -determination, autonomy and quality of life of people with disabilities.

The Master offers the fundamental tools to develop professional practice, developing the necessary skills to carry out intervention with people with disabilities in different contexts (occupational centers, associations and NGOs, residential centers, leisure and free time services, socio -educational centers ...).

The master's degree in social inclusion and disability prepares you in the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to work with people with disabilities. It will also provide you with the necessary skills to manage the resources and tools that allow accessibility and participation as well as the elimination of obstacles to guarantee the inclusion of people with disabilities in everyday activities.

Aimed at university graduates or professionals related to the scope of socio -health intervention determined to provide a service to the group of disabled people, either independently or subject to the institutional framework. Also aimed at professionals from other areas who are interested in developing their activity in the field of care for people with disabilities.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
