Master Online Information Security: Master in Information Security and Communications

Nowadays computer security is a very important and sensitive issue, which covers a large set of aspects in continuous change and constant evolution, which requires that computer professionals have fully updated knowledge. Thus, the UNE-ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 standard is prepared to be used in any type of organization. The proper and correct implementation of an SGSI allows companies to ensure business continuity, minimize commercial risk and maximize the return of investments and commercial opportunities.

- Provide students with the basic guidelines for the application of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard within their organization. - Offer the guidelines to implement a information security management system based on the ISO/IEC 27001 standard following the controls recommended by the ISO/IEC 27002 standard in their respective clauses. - Expose and explain a series of good practices to achieve information security. - Manage services in the computer system. - Design and implement safe access and data transmission systems. - Detect and respond to computer security incidents. - Ensure the continuity of the operations of the critical elements that make up the information systems, through actions and procedures. - Audit communication networks and computer systems.

This Master aims to train students at the theoretical-practical level in the performance of all these functions that, as professionals in the implementation, management and audit of information security systems, must possess. The student will know the UNE-ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 standard elaborated to be used in any type of organization. This master will show the legislation associated with information security.

Aimed at university degrees in the computer branch, telecommunications and in general to all those interested in directing their professional career towards information security, data protection and safety in storage systems.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
