UF1146 Course: Preparation and Fundamentals of Open Sky Drilling

In the field of extractive industries, it is necessary to know the different fields of open -pit excavation with explosives, within the Mining Professional Area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to perform open -pit drilling.

- Describe the general characteristics and conditions of open -air perforations, as well as specific safety risks and measures for these activities, identifying collective protections and individual protective equipment to be used based on the work to be carried out. - Interpret plans and drilling schemes, to perform the drilling optimally, identifying the data and symbology used.

It develops its professional activity as a worker on behalf of others in the area of production of large, medium and small businesses, public or private, dedicated to open -pit excavations, with use or not of excavated materials. He performs technical activities, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by technicians of a higher level, of which he will receive general instructions and to which he will inform. The professional activities of the workers of Open or Underground Mining Mining Explorations, in regard to the general safety and specific standards of their workplace, are subject to the regulations of the competent administration. Professional Activities of Mobile Machine Operators in Open Mining are subject to the regulations of the competent administration. The professional activity of blasting with explosives is subject to the regulation of the competent administration.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF1146 formative unit preparation and fundamentals of open -pit drilling, belonging to the MF1378_2 Open Sky Formative Module, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding Certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of extractive industries, specifically in open -pit excavation with explosives, within the professional mining area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge necessary to perform open -pit drilling.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
