UF1517 programming and assessment of the Herrado

In the agricultural field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the hull, forged, adaptation and placement of horseshoes and other Herrado de Equinos materials, within the professional area of livestock. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the programming and assessment of the Herrado.

- Explain the anatomy and physiology of the extremities of the horses, the biomechanics of their movement and the way of acting with the Herrado to ensure the functionality of the animal. - Describe the methods and places used for the observation of the horses of the horses before and after their heard and carry it out in a practical case. - Describe the phases of a complete herrado. - Define the fundamental characteristics of the necessary materials, equipment, tools and accessories and distribute them in an orderly manner in the space chosen to perform the basic, orthopedic and equine therapeutic herrado. - Describe the necessary technical means and how to write down, program and control the tasks of Herrado to monitor the animal and optimize work performance.

It develops its professional activity in private companies, both on their own and of others, or public, of any size, related to the breeding, training, doming, riding and exhibition of horses.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF1517 training unit and assess Different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of agricultural services, specifically in the appl of the helmet, forged, adaptation and placement of horseshoes and other Herrado de Equinos materials, within the professional area of livestock, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the programming and assessment of the Herrado.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
