UF1581 starting operations and protocols of the rock tunnelador

In the world of extractive industries it is necessary to know the different fields in excavations. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for risk prevention in excavations with Tunnelador, focusing on the preventive and correction measures of the machinery used as well as the individual and collective equipment necessary to perform this type of construction work.

- Describe the general characteristics and conditions of the excavation with rock tunneladoras, defining the main equipment used and excavation procedures. -Distinguish the different rock tunneladoras equipment: open tunnelador -topo-, rock shield and double shield, identifying their characteristics, components, capacities, limitations and applications. - Describe the operation of each team according to the manufacturer's instructions. - Identify the main operating and safety indicators in the command cabin, recognizing the normal operating parameters.

He develops his professional activity as a worker on behalf of others in the area of production of public or private companies of small, medium or large size, dedicated to open or underground excavations, with use or not of the excavated materials. He performs support and auxiliary activities, fulfilling orders from the higher level operators and technicians, of which he will receive the instructions and to which he will report. Exploitation workers must be previously instructed on the general safety and specific standards of their job.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1581 Training Unit starting up and protocols of the Roca Tunnel, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective. Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of extractive industries, specifically in the area of excavations, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to risk prevention in underground and open -pit excavations, with rock tunneladores or “moles”.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
