Summary
Population aging has increased the prevalence of articular chronic pathologies, demanding greater attention in the management and treatment of these conditions. Physiotherapy techniques and therapies provide opportunities to improve the quality of life of the elderly. This course in recovery of articular chronic pathologies encompasses from joint physiology to common chronic pathologies in seniors. It includes mobilization, thermotherapy, and cryotherapy methods, as well as the application of health technology and alternative therapies in addition to emphasizing physical activity in aging. We chose to develop this course to respond to the growing need for trained professionals in the treatment of joint pathologies in the elderly.
