The Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA) is the first online private university in Spain, officially recognized by Law 1/2006 of the Community of Madrid. It is part of the CEF Educational Group.- Udima, together with the Center for Financial Studies (CEF.-), founded in 1977. Its main campus is in Collado Villalba, Madrid.
The Udima offers a wide range of academic programs, including 17 degrees, 35 university masters, 2 doctoral programs and more than 270 own titles. Its educational model is based on online training, using information and communication technologies to facilitate distance learning. Despite the virtual modality, the university emphasizes the proximity to the student, offering personalized tutorials and continuous monitoring to guarantee academic success.
The Udima maintains more than 100 international university cooperation agreements and 85 Bilateral agreements Erasmus+, promoting academic mobility and collaboration with foreign institutions. In addition, the University participates in research and development projects, with more than 200 researchers organized in 28 research groups. Its social commitment is reflected in initiatives as training programs in mental health and suicide prevention, contributing to the welfare of society.
