The Local Police are called to intervene in the immigration phenomenon. The increase in the number of foreigners residing in our territory and the progressive assumption of powers by local bodies in matters of immigration mean that the Local Police is configured as one of the forms of representation of the Public Administration closest to citizens and the foreign population. This course arises with the objective of satisfying current training demands, offering the bases of specialized intervention with foreign and European citizens, exposing the regulatory framework of reference, in addition to offering basic training in Intercultural Mediation.
