The Miguel de Cervantes European University (UEMC), founded in 2002 in Valladolid, is a private institution that has experienced remarkable growth in the last two decades. With more than 5,000 students and an academic offer that includes 15 official degrees, 5 double degrees, 5 international degrees, 12 official masters and a doctoral program, the EUMC stands out for its personalized training, individualized care and direct connection with the professional environment. The university is organized in three faculties: Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Higher Polytechnic School, in addition to the EUMC Business School in Madrid and the UMC-Real Valladolid University School. With more than 1,500 agreements with companies, the EUMC facilitates professional practices that significantly improve the employability of its graduates.
In June 2025, the EUMC opened the 03 building, a modern installation of 5,000 m² that doubles the space for teaching and research, with capacity for 1,200 students per shift, versatile classrooms and an auditorium, highlighting for its sustainable design and energy efficiency systems. This extension responds to the 42% growth in registration in the last five years and reaffirms the university's commitment to the sustainability and well -being of its community.
Innovation, Sustainability and Social Commitment
The UEMC actively participates in projects such as the “Innovable Campus”, developed in collaboration with the City of Valladolid and the Agency for Innovation and Economic Development (IDEVA). This project promotes sustainable mobility, artificial intelligence and economic development of the city, positioning the university as a key actor in regional innovation.
