Objectives

- Analyze the elements that characterize the road transport sector, its infrastructure, market data and the different agents providing transport services and the logistics sector, both in the domestic and international context. - Distinguish the different legal configurations and structures in transport companies and the main functions assumed by the department responsible for traffic operations. - Establish service planning and work organization methods in the traffic department. - Identify and apply current regulations in reference to the authorizations and permits required for the exercise of the activity and that affect the transport company, vehicles, mobile personnel and the transported goods. - Analyze the operating costs of road freight transport services, and those related to the associated logistics operations for the optimization and quality of the service. - Determine the characteristics and variables for the implementation of quality systems and continuous improvement of the road transport and logistics service. - Calculate time indicators and standards to improve the quality of transportation service and optimize time and human and technical resources. - Apply systems for quality management and control in the provision of transportation services and the different techniques for the traceability of shipments and operations.
