- Carry out the necessary internal supply of products and utensils for use in ironing and clothing repair operations, depending on the needs of the service. - Arrange the clothes for ironing, classifying them into batches according to instructions. - Iron and present clothes based on their characteristics and in accordance with established standards. - Carry out simple sewing repairs on clothing, by hand or by machine, to correct defects or tears that they may have, and make simple textile articles. - Participate in the effective control and maintenance of the product warehouse and the lingerie warehouse, promoting their use, taking into account their age and expiration criteria. - Act in accordance with the safety, hygiene and health standards that affect their job and the process, in the appropriate conditions to prevent personal and environmental risks.
He develops his professional activity in all types of hotels and other tourist accommodation such as spas, tourist apartments, holiday cities or rural tourism establishments. You can also carry out your activity in non-tourist accommodation such as health centers, student residences, residences for the elderly. Performs its functions under the dependence of the hierarchical superior in charge of the corresponding section, department or area.
This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0708_1 Ironing and Arrangement of Clothes in Accommodations, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Communities. Autonomous, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
