Objectives

- Apply the necessary measures and inspections of personal hygiene and facilities and equipment, according to the work systems of the reception, warehouse and shipping areas, to minimize the risks of alteration or deterioration of the products. - Carry out the reception and dispatch of merchandise in the ideal hygienic conditions, according to their compositions, quantities, protection needs and the external transport used. - Classify merchandise, applying the appropriate criteria to the characteristics of the food products, their storage, conservation and conditioning. - Carry out the internal storage and supply of materials and products for animal feed, selecting locations, times, means and itineraries and merchandise handling techniques. - Complete the documentation for the reception and dispatch of materials and products for animal feed, in accordance with the specifications agreed upon with the internal/external client. - Apply stock control and inventory preparation procedures in warehouses of animal feed products. - Use equipment and computer programs to control warehouses for animal feed products. - Apply reception, classification and storage techniques for raw materials with biological activity in products intended for animal feed.

Career opportunities

It carries out its activity in small family-type establishments, medium-sized establishments that are often cooperative in nature, oriented toward local self-consumption, large cooperatives, and large national and international companies where a wide range of products and brands for animal feed are manufactured. In general, they are employed workers who carry out their activity individually or in teams, under the orders of a higher level technician and in some cases, in small family businesses as self-employed workers. They carry out their activity in the functional areas of: reception, equipment preparation, conditioning of raw materials, dosing, mixing, transformation, conditioning and dispatch of the final product.

This training is in accordance with the training itinerary of the Training Module MF0754_2 Operations and control of animal feed products warehouse, certifying having passed the different Units of Competence included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as such as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
