Career opportunities

It carries out its activity in both the public and private sectors, dedicated to coordinating prevention, surveillance and rescue services in facilities and centers with aquatic activity: conventional swimming pools, natural pools and aquatic parks among others, and in natural aquatic spaces: maritime beaches, river beaches, rivers, lakes and reservoirs among others. Its activity is carried out in: town councils (rescue teams, first aid teams, aquatic intervention units), service companies for aquatic facilities and natural aquatic spaces, active tourism companies, hotels, camping, camps, sports federations, sports-recreational and leisure clubs and associations, educational centers and related facilities, marinas.

What it prepares you for

This training conforms to the training itinerary of the Training Unit UF1701 Drills and environmental support in aquatic lifesaving, certifying having passed the different Competence Units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the Professional Competencies acquired through work experience and non-formal training, through which you will be eligible to obtain the corresponding Certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls published by the different Autonomous Communities, as well as such as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the organization of the Vocational Training System and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional skills acquired through work experience or non-formal training).
