- Carry out the preparation and commissioning of personal protective equipment, depending on the type of intervention, checking the absence of defects and breakdowns and applying safe placement protocols. - Carry out the preparation, maintenance and review of self-contained breathing equipment, verifying its operability through use checks. - Carry out the preparation, start-up and basic maintenance of the equipment and tools used in the interventions, checking their correct functioning and operability, according to safety standards. - Carry out first-level maintenance and check the status and operability of emergency vehicles, according to features and type of service, checking their operability and the operation of safety measures. - Carry out the verification of the equipment of emergency vehicles, verifying compliance with safety measures and their assembly and stowage, depending on the type of vehicle. - Establish methods of coordination of vehicles and means used in the development of interventions, to ensure execution in the shortest possible time and with the greatest safety guarantees. - Obtain the necessary initial information to determine the vehicles, means, strategies and tactics necessary in the first instance to resolve the emergency. - Describe the procedures to be used to achieve coordinated action of vehicles and means, establishing an action plan. - Mention the parameters that must be controlled so that the means used can fulfill their function. - Recognize the incidents that prevent the achievement of the required service and the correction protocols, continually analyzing the emergency to adapt the action plan to the real situation.
