The objectives to be achieved by completing this Postgraduate Degree in Food Safety are the following: - Achieve good habits in food safety. - Know the HACCP system and its phases. - Acquire knowledge about proper cleaning and disinfection practices. - Identify hazards and critical control points. - Improve hygienic measures in food handling. - Improve food health, both for food handlers and the people they work for.
After completing this Postgraduate Degree in Food Safety you will be able to work as a Quality Manager in food companies. Work as a professional in hospitality, cooking or small food businesses. You will be able to carry out your work in laboratories or in any company in the healthcare area.
Through this course the student will know in depth everything related to food safety, diseases that are transmitted through the misuse or treatment of food (legionellosis, for example). All this focusing on the current regulatory framework that supports all types of appropriate actions for the maintenance of food safety and food handling. We will learn how good practices around cleaning and disinfection are carried out, as well as the keys to the implementation and maintenance of a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.
