- Provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the design and development of training programs in Gender Equality. - Contextualize Equality in the national regulatory framework, highlighting the social measures adopted regarding gender equality and opportunities in all social areas in general and the specific guidelines in the management and organization of human groups in particular. - Know the history of Social Work as a professional discipline - Identify the dominant currents in the construction of Social Work as a discipline. - Become aware of the importance of the work of the Social Worker in their multiple fields of intervention. - Be aware of the functions performed by the Social Worker in their different areas of action. - Know the main concepts linked to the field of equal opportunities. - Analyze the different types of measures, legislation, programs, initiatives and organizations that respond to Equal Opportunities in our country. - Identify gender violence as the main public health problem worldwide.

This course aims to provide the student with technical and theoretical training in the field of social intervention in the field of equal opportunities. You will learn to promote positive actions in the interests of Gender Equality, and carrying out Technician tasks in the management of Equality Plans, Work Conciliation Plans, in the field of social intervention to avoid situations of discrimination, developing educational plans based on Co-education, and ultimately exercising the functions of Responsible in the field of Equality in any company, administration or public body.
