SEAD0511 Course Coordination of Forest Fire Operations and contingency support in the natural and rural environment (Certificate of Complete Professionalism)

In the field of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields within the coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, within the professional area of security and prevention. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to know the human and material means in forest fires and contingencies in the natural and rural environment, the control of operations in the fight against forest fires, the tasks of support to the operational civil protection groups in the natural and rural environment, the management at the basic level of PRL and first aid.

- Organize the human and material media of the Intervention Unit, in the fight against forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment. - Plan and coordinate the surveillance, detection, extinction and prevention of intervention units in forest fires. - Coordinate the intervention units in support of the Civil Protection Operating Groups in contingencies in the natural and rural environment. - Perform the basic level functions for the prevention of occupational hazards in the field of forest fire prevention and extinction. - Attend as the first intervener in case of an accident or emergency situation.

It develops its professional activity in forest fire extinction services as a worker dependent on public administrations, as well as in public and private companies dedicated to agroforestry and environmental work, at the head of an intervention unit and in collaboration with other intervention units and/or operational civil protection groups, under the supervision of a responsible superior. Collaborates in the prevention of risk of its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the Certificate of Professionalism SEAD0511 Coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, certifying having exceeded the different units of competition included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the corresponding certificate of professional respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, more specifically those linked to the coordination of operations in forest fires and support for contingencies in the natural and rural environment, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to human and material media in forest fires and contingencies in the natural and rural environment, the control of operations in the fight against forest fires, the tasks of support for the operating groups of civil protection. rural, management at the basic level of PRL and first aid.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
