Summary

At present, physical libraries lack interest to a large number of citizens, since the current rhythm of life and schedules limitation makes them not accessible to most of them. This, together with the new technologies and computer applications, has made digital libraries, which aim to solve these problems. Digital libraries must be seen as those that allow direct and reliable access to computer, non -digital and digital resources, in a structured way, thus managing to link information, culture and education technology in them. With this course in free software for libraries, the skills and skills necessary to perform this work are provided.

Goals

- Deepen the knowledge and skills of the library personnel. - Know the most important aspects of file management and digital libraries. - Properly use the different identification and safety devices of bibliographic funds. - Improve documentation management. - Know the characteristics of documentation digitalization.
