Summary
Pressure ulcers are lesions located on the underlying skin or tissues, on bone prominence, as a result of a pressure maintained situation and are currently considered or first -order health problem worldwide. Being its prevalence of 7.9% and rose up to 18% and 13.4% in intensive care units and residences. Thanks to this course in nutritional aspects related to ulcers and skin lesions you can specialize is the treatment of ulcers and know firsthand the aspects of nutrition that are related to a better healing of these wounds. Deepen the study of the causes of this ailment such as malnutrition, since it is associated with a delay in healing and increased morbidity and mortality.
