UF1017 Materials and Documentation course and cutting in naval constructions

Within the world of mechanical manufacturing, it is necessary to know the different fields of design in the naval industry, within the professional area of metal constructions. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge about materials and documentation of layout and cut in naval constructions.

- Determine the necessary materials for the manufacture, assembly and repair of naval structures according to the constructive plans, specification of the materials, complying with quality standards, and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Prepare cutting documentation and programming of automatic CNC and robot machines, for the layout and cut of sheets, profiles and tubes, depending on the materials defined in the assembly, construction or repair plans, complying with quality standards, and prevention of occupational and environmental risks.

This professional figure is fundamentally located in the design and development function of products for naval construction and repair, developing its work with a versatile character in the Basic Engineering area (or product), participating in a unit of the Technical Office, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians, of which it will receive general instructions and to which it will inform. It exercises its activity in large, medium and small businesses.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF1017 Formative Unit Materials and Documentation and Cutting in Naval Constructions, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of mechanical manufacturing, specifically in design in the naval industry, within the professional area of metal constructions, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to materials and documentation of layout and cutting in naval constructions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
