- Delimit the levels and sources of information that are necessary for the market information system (SIM) of the organization and its decision making. - Obtain and organize the reliable information of the markets, taking into account the objectives and commercial operations of the company and its costs, for the efficiency of the SIM of the organization. - Extract conclusions, applying statistical analysis techniques, information and data obtained or available in the SIM. - Analyze the product and services market situation, based on commercial, quantitative and qualitative data, and markets and market studies, drawing conclusions regarding the opportunities, threats, weaknesses and strengths of the organization, in the market. - Analyze the factors involved in the product policy of marketing plans from different product portfolios using different instruments such as positioning maps and BCG matrix among others. - Calculate the prices of products and services, as well as the variables that make up and influence the price policy of a product or service using calculation tools. - Characterize different marketing and promotion actions aimed at launching products and services from a campaign, type of customer, special dates, type of establishment or others. - Apply merchandising techniques for the animation of the point of sale from different types of establishment: large surface, hypermarket, supermarket, commercial or traditional center and commercial implementation. - Prepare monitoring and control reports of different promotional actions at the point of sale.
