MF0484_3 Hardware Administration of a computer system

At present, in the world of computer science and communications and within the professional area of systems and telematics, more specifically in the management of computer systems, it is very important to know the different processes for which they are carried out. Therefore, with this course it is about providing the necessary knowledge to dimension, install and optimize hardware and manage environmental growth and conditions.

- Prepare and maintain inventories of the physical components of the system to ensure its location and availability according to the organization's standards. - Analyze and parameterize hardware devices, monitoring and evaluating their performance to optimize the operation of the system and propose, where appropriate, modifications or improvements according to existing functional needs. - Implement and optimize high -availability hardware solutions to guarantee and ensure system protection and recovery in unforeseen situations according to the planned contingency plan. - Plan the extensions and growth of the system by proposing new configurations to assume future increases in the workload or users according to the exploitation needs. - Define the appropriate environmental and security conditions to avoid interruptions in the provision of system services according to manufacturer's specifications and the organization's security plan.

It develops its professional activity in companies or entities of a public or private nature of any size in the systems area of the computer department.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0484_3 Hardware Administration of a computer system, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those who develop their professional activity in the world of computer science and communications, within the professional area of systems and telematics, and more specifically in the management of computer systems, and in general, anyone who wishes to expand and/or update their knowledge to dimension, install and optimize hardware and manage growth and environmental conditions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
