Summary

In the aquatic environment there are many swimmers, who after years of swimming training, have the need to practice something more dynamic and playful, so they pass to the water polo. The water polo is a team sport that is played in the aquatic environment, where two teams face and wins the most target goals within the delimited time. Moving from swimming to water polo, motor speaking, has a great transfer. Today, the concern for everything that refers to dietary and human nutrition is already very high and is justified by a series of factors, among which we highlight a greater demand for quality of life in contemporary western society that translates into the search for a better diet, healthier and more balanced. The appropriate diet to enjoy good health is the result of the application of basic knowledge that demonstrates the links between the intake of certain foods with some pathologies, such as cardiovascular diseases, arteriosclerosis, obesity, diabetes, etc. With the Waterpolo monitor course + Sports Nutrition Specialization, it is intended to offer an approach to dietary and nutrition in the sports field to know the nutritional needs of the athletes to elaborate balanced diets and in accordance with their energy expenditure and on water polo

Goals

- Know the anatomical bases involved in movement and physical activity in relation to the locomotor apparatus. - Analyze the physiology involved in physical activity, in muscle physiology, energy systems and muscle contraction. - Assess the psychological needs in sports and the purpose of your intervention, as well as planning, training, ... to improve the performance of the athlete. - Define biomechanics and sports biomechanics to study the movement of the human body. - Know the basis for which training produces adaptations, as well as the qualities and factors that are involved in the physical and motor condition. - Identify the types of aquatic activities, as well as the history of water polo, necessary material, the categories and adapted water polo (mini water polo). - Analyze all existing swimming styles to later work on swimming to water polo, especially for displacements in the aquatic environment. Study the technical actions for which the water polo game is carried out, as well as the examples of tactical situations for the development of the game, both in attack and in defense. - Identify the rules by which the sport of water policy is governed through the RFEN regulations. - Know the main sports injuries, in terms of recovery and prevention, and the performance to be carried out in first aid. - Offer an approach to the main concepts of dietary and nutrition, applied to the feeding of people who perform some type of sports activity at a higher or less level. - Present the nutritional aspects of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. - Know the specific nutritional needs of people who practice some sport. - Provide the necessary knowledge to elaborate an adequate food plan for people who carry out some sporting activity, either professional or simply or as a measure to stay fit.

Official character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
