Summary

In the field of the world of hospitality and tourism it is necessary to know the different fields of the project to implement rural accommodation, within the professional area of agrotourism. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the project to implement rural accommodation.

Goals

- Describe the usual reservation and reception processes in accommodation of rural and/or natural environments, applying the appropriate procedures and operations for their implementation. - Define the collection management processes and billing of regular services in accommodation of rural and/or natural environments, applying suitable procedures and operations for their realization. - Apply communication and customer service techniques and customer service in common use in accommodation of the rural and/or natural environment, in order to meet their expectations and materialize future rooms. - Define the characteristics of the rural tourism subsector within the framework of the tourism system and, in particular, the activity of accommodation of this nature, considering the relations of the respective establishments with other companies and the circuits and types of information that are generated. - Define simple viability projects for the constitution and implementation of small rural accommodation companies, using the corresponding information channels. - Formulate proposals for adaptation of rural accommodation such as tourist accommodations, based on types-types already carried out, justifying actions and resources that are viable for design, rehabilitation and decoration.
