Summary

This course of leisure and free time for people with disabilities offers specialized training in leisure and free time. Contrary to what is usually thought, leisure is not a luxury but a right of all citizens, and much more in people with disabilities. The realization of creative leisure and free time activities suggests the imagination and contributes to personal growth in these people.

Goals

- Provide different tools for the development of leisure and free time activities: socio -cultural, sports and outdoor activities attending to the environment in which they are projected, urban and in nature. - Know the methodology that underlies the planning and application of the different activities to be programmed, especially working the definition of specific objectives, the coordination and organization of work and the supervision of activities. - Know the functions and main characteristics that define the profile of the leisure and free time monitor and recognize the influence of leisure and free time activities in the educational field. - Identify the criteria for the delimitation of support required by people with disabilities in leisure and free time, valuing their intensity and characteristics based on the recipients. - Prepare interventions for integration of people with disabilities in leisure and free time recognizing the functions of each member of the interdisciplinary team, understanding this as a backbone of the entire intervention. - Apply criteria for analysis and search for leisure and free time resources in the community environment, taking into account its characteristics based on the needs of people with disabilities. - Analyze and organize training and strategies for the effective use of leisure and free time resources, by the person with disabilities. - Establish the way of promoting healthy and healthy affective-sexual behaviors in leisure and free time spaces, contributing to the full personal and social development of people with disabilities.

The present leisure and free time monitor for people with disabilities is aimed at all those teachers of early education, primary education, secondary education teachers, psychologists, pedagogues, psychopedagogues, etc. And, in general, any university degree interested in performing their professional work in the field of leisure and free time.

Official Character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
