MF1612_2: Basic Management Course of Occupational Risk Prevention in the field of Biocidas Application

JUSTIFICATION /SUMMARY: In the field of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of hygienic-sanitary maintenance of facilities susceptible to the proliferation of harmful microorganisms and their aerosolization dissemination, within the professional area of environmental management. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for management at the basic level of occupational risk prevention in the scope of the application of biocides.

- Analyze the actions (informative and training) related to occupational hazards, preventive measures and use of work and protection equipment, in the scope of biocide substances, as established in the company's prevention plan and in the applicable regulations. - Determine effective preventive actions linked to order, cleaning, signaling and general maintenance in the scope of the application of biocides. - Apply elementary evaluation techniques of risks linked to the general and specific working conditions of the scope of the application of biocides in accordance with the provisions of the company and the applicable regulations, for the prevention of accidents and/or occupational diseases. - Relate general and specific risks evaluation and control actions in the scope of the application of biocides with preventive measures established in prevention plans and applicable regulations. - Apply acting techniques in emergency situations that need first aid, in accordance with emergency plans, regulations within the scope of biocides and basic health care protocols.

It develops their professional activity on behalf of public or private companies in industrial, services, health, sports and homes facilities, among others, that use water in their operation, produce aerosols and/or dispersed them to the environment. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent administration. Collaborates in the prevention of risk of its scope of responsibility, being able to perform the basic function of occupational risk prevention.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1612_2 management at the basic level of the prevention of occupational hazards in the scope of the application of biocides, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding certificate of the corresponding certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of safety and environment, specifically in hygienic-sanitary maintenance of facilities susceptible to proliferation of harmful microorganisms and their aerosolization dissemination, within the professional area of environmental management, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the basic management of the prevention of occupational hazards in the scope of the application of biocides.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
