Summary

Energy consumption is one of the great meters of progress and well -being of a society. The concept of energy crisis appears when the energy sources from which society is supplied are exhausted. An economic model like the current one, whose operation depends on continuous growth, also demands an equally increasing demand for energy. Since fossil and nuclear energy sources are finite, it is inevitable that at a certain moment the demand cannot be supplied and the entire collapse system. This course in assembly and maintenance in wind power facilities will allow the student to acquire the necessary knowledge to develop wind energy assembly projects.

Goals

- Analyze the operation of wind power facilities determining the technical specifications necessary for assembly. - Interpret technical projects of wind power facilities for the proper organization of the assembly process. - Develop provisioning programs for assembling wind power facilities. - Prepare work plans for assembling wind facilities according to the corresponding projects and the established work procedures. - Define the quality criteria in the assembly operations of wind power facilities from the technical documentation, applying standardized procedures, corresponding regulation and acting under safety standards. - Know the components that constitute a wind farm. - Explain the different documents available for the interpretation of a wind installation. - Define the components and function of the substation. - Explain the main operation and components of a wind turbine. - Define the operating states of a conventional wind turbine. - Learn to plan the management of a wind farm. - Define the structure and techniques of maintenance organization. - Develop maintenance ranges to apply to installation according to manufacturers's instructions. - Learn techniques that can predict the state of a team. - Study the diagnosis of breakdowns.
