UF1347 course and configuration of private network interconnection nodes

In the field of computer science and communications, it is necessary to know the different fields of the installation and configuration of the interconnection nodes of private networks with public, within the professional area of the systems and telematics. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to carry out the connection processes between private networks and public networks.

- Identify the characteristics of the interconnection devices of public and private networks according to standards of communications technologies. - Explain the characteristics of interconnection devices of private networks with public networks. - List the technologies used in network interconnection. - Identify the connection services, their interrelation and way of implementing them in the local network equipment. - Identify the interconnection services supported by the communications services providers to which the private network is connected. - Apply installation and verification procedures of the interconnection devices of private and public networks. - Identify the parameters that make up interconnection services with the public network according to the technical characteristics of the service itself and the interconnection device. - Identify, in the quality norm, the requirements corresponding to the interconnection with the public network. - Describe the interfaces used in the connection of private networks to public networks based on the typology of the networks used. - Explain the safety regulations applicable to the installation of an interconnection device of private and public networks, interpreting the associated technical documentation. - Install a private and public networks interconnection device to withstand communications services. - Configure the protocols and interconnection parameters of the link devices between private and public networks. - Identify the configuration parameters and interconnection management of virtual private networks on the link devices. - Classify, according to their functions, the protocols used in the interconnection devices between private and public networks and identify the services that will be supported by them. - Describe the procedures and tools used to implement configurations in the interconnection devices of private networks with public networks, so that communications services are supported. - Explain the function and values of each of the parameters involved in the configuration of a link device. - Implement a configuration on an interconnection device to withstand communications services.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in public or private companies or entities of any size, which have intranet, internet or extranet networks infrastructure, in the area of systems and telematics of the Department of Computer Science, or networks and communications.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1347 Installation and configuration of the interconnection nodes of private networks with public, certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of computer science and communications, specifically in the operation of departmental networks, within the professional area systems and telematics, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the installation and configuration of the interconnection nodes of private networks with public.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
