Summary

During childhood it will be vital to know thoroughly the needs and obligations of the little ones to offer them an education and a series of indispensable values for a proper physical and emotional development. This course will provide the student with the necessary knowledge to be able to define, sequence and evaluate learning, interpreting them in the context of child development from zero to six years. We must also know that music therapy is a theoretical and applied discipline that develops intervention models with music so that the professional can establish a help relationship with people with socio-affective needs, both in individual and group frames. The course seeks to introduce and deepen everything related to music as therapy and application in various fields, as well as offer the student learning the methods of therapeutic and educational use of music. With this course, it seeks to raise awareness that music is a tool for the playful, educational and therapeutic intervention, which opens channels of expression and communication, prevents disorders, stimulates creativity and focuses on healthy emotions to normalize the conflicting situation and stimulate learning.

Goals

- Identify the individual capacities of children, referring to the stages of development. - Identify and sequencing that learning favoring cognitive, sensory and motor development. - Plan the temporary organization of the institution verifying its adaptation to the characteristics and moments of the recipients. - Analyze, elaborate and apply evaluation instruments and techniques that allow their adaptation to different ages and contexts. - Define and apply techniques and procedures to assess the learning of children, checking the skills developed and the achievements obtained. - Define specific actions for boys and girls with special/specific educational needs. - Assess the exploration of the sensory qualities of objects as a means to favor child development. - Assess psychomotor education as a need to exploration of the human being to achieve knowledge of self and its environment, and to place educational intervention. - Contribute to those professionals of psychology, education or any other related field and to those who want to specialize in the subject, all those musical skills and therapeutic attitudes necessary to carry out a good job as a music therapist in any of its areas of application.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
