Judicial Expert Course in Marine Contamination + University Degree in preparing expert reports (double degree with 5 ECTS credits)

At present, the study of the environment, its protection and the development of research aimed at establishing an environmental balance, is the order of the day, therefore, the primary objective of this course consists in facilitating our students a global vision on the environmental effects that pollution exerts on the marine ecosystem, as well as the necessary tools to identify and evaluate the impacts produced in the sea by the different industrial activities. It also enables him for the free exercise of the function of judicial expert in criminology in the judicial processes of labor, civil or criminal as well as to work on their own. This judicial expert course contains everything necessary to be able to exercise as a judicial expert, successfully developing this activity, in addition to obtaining the diploma will be able to process the discharge in the courts that it designates. This judicial expert course includes all current legislation in the world of the expertise.

- Recognize the criminal science system and the disciplines that compose it. - Identify the material content of marine pollution and criminal law and differentiate its similarities and disagreements. - Know the concept of crime in the Spanish legal system and the treatment given as a legal, social and political factor. - Acquire the basic knowledge about the environmental effects that the different activities that cause pollution have on the different components of the marine ecosystem. - Know the main sources of marine pollution and study in particular the contamination caused by hydrocarbons and urban wastewater. - Know the most common treatments of containment and elimination of oil discharges and the general concepts on urban wastewater treatment and their evacuation to the sea through underwater emissaries.

This course is aimed at judicial experts, jurists, sociologists, psychologists, workers and social educators and any student of these disciplines, officials of the administration of justice, penitentiary institutions, members of the State Security bodies and forces and any person interested in the world of judicial performance in marine pollution. However, as established by the Civil Procedure Law in its article 340.1: Experts must possess the official title that corresponds to the subject subject of the opinion and the nature of the latter. If they are subjects that are not included in official professional titles, they will be appointed among people understood in those subjects.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
