MF0742-3 Course Prevention and Control of Pathologies in Aquaculture Crafter

In the maritime fishing field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the management of the production of a farmer in aquaculture, within the professional area of aquaculture. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to prevent and control health protection measures and pathologies in the aquaculture farm.

- Select prophylaxis measures in relation to the system, installation and species of cultivation assessing the pathologies transmission risks. - Establish a vaccination program based on the culture species and pathologies susceptible to treatment. - Select prevention treatments other than vaccines depending on the species and culture phase. - Relate the pathological processes with the most common diseases taking into account symptomatology. - Assess microbiological and parasitological analysis considering microscopic and macroscopic identification techniques. - Establish a sampling and application of treatments in the different phases of a farmer the health control of the crops.

It develops its activity in the areas of plankton, reproduction, larvary and post-lands, seeds or fry cultivation, as self-employed or foreign, in SMEs, large companies, whether of a public or private nature, research centers and cofradies of seafood and aquariums. Coordinates responsible for production areas.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0742_3 prevention and control of pathologies in aquaculture, certifying having overcome the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the maritime fisheries world, specifically in the management of the production of a farmer in aquaculture, within the professional area aquaculture, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge to prevent and control the health protection measures and pathologies in the aquaculture farm.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
