Summary

In the field of chemistry, it is necessary to know the different fields of the organization and control of the transformation of thermoplastic polymers, within the professional area transformation of polymers. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to coordinate and control the transformation of thermoplastic materials.

Goals

- Differentiate the different types of thermoplastic, characterized by their chemical composition, structure and morphology and relate them to their intrinsic properties and their possible applications. - Characterize the process of elaboration of mixtures and dosing of thermoplastic materials. - Analyze the tuning of an installation type of transformation of plastic materials from the process information. - Describe the techniques of transformation of thermoplastic materials, explaining their foundations and applications.

Professional opportunities

This technician will exercise their work in polymers transformative industries, automotive auxiliary companies, appliances, aerospace or energy generator, toys, food, furniture, raw material production plants for the industry of plastic materials and in laboratories, development centers and technical offices of related industries.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0786_3 formative module Coordination and control of the thermoplastic transformation, certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).
