MF1124-2 Course: Initial Mount of Potros

In the agricultural field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the basic horse dump, within the professional livestock area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to make the initial mounts of foals.

- Define the characteristics of the spaces that are used to make the contact of the foal stopped with the rider, listing the criteria to be taken into account for their choice. - Describe the preparation tasks of the foal, prior to making contact with the rider, citing the equipment necessary to carry out this activity. - Explain the tasks that are carried out to make the contact of the Potro stopped with the rider, specifying in each case the handling that is carried out with the animals. - Describe the usual development of an initiation session of the foals at work to the rope mounted, specifying the characteristics of the facilities used for these tasks. - Define the auxiliary action protocol during work to the mounted foal rope, specifying the handling of the animal at all times. - Describe the techniques used by the rider to start the foal on the rope, explaining how the orders transmit to the animal in each case. - Describe the preparation tasks of the foal prior to loose to be mounted, analyzing the need for auxiliary material or personnel so that this activity can be developed. - Cite the general rules of action of the rider and its possible assistants during the mounting session of a loose foal, determining the precautions to be taken into account to avoid incidents. - Explain which techniques use the rider to set up a loose foal, defining the application protocol of each of them. - Recognize the level of a foal mounted, valuing its qualities and determining if you are ready to start in a specific equestrian activity.

It develops its professional activity in private companies, both on their own and of others, or public, of any size, related to the breeding, training, doming, riding and exhibition of horses.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1124_2 Initial Moun Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the agrarian world, specifically in the basic doma of the horse, within the professional livestock area, and to all those interested in acquiring related knowledge to make the initial mount of foals.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
