MF1762-3 COURSE Management of help resource in aquatic spaces

At present, in the world of physical and sports activities, it is a priority to acquire knowledge such as coordinating the resources and logistics of help services in aquatic spaces, supervising facilities and material resources and directing human resources to ensure that dangerous situations are prevented, permanently monitors are monitored by bathing areas throughout their extension and are carried out, if necessary, immediate interventions before an accident or emergency situation that guarantees the safety of users. Thus, with this course you will learn to plan and organize human and material resources to prevent, monitor and intervene in accidents in aquatic spaces.

- Identify typologies and characteristics of the aquatic spaces susceptible to public use and establish the needs of providing human and material resources to manage lifeguard services adapted to them. - Apply techniques for the selection and organization of human and material resources in aquatic lifeguard complying with current regulations. - Apply information protocols, selecting recommendations and messages that guarantee to be understood by all types of users. - Design surveillance planning in different aquatic spaces, adapted to the typology of aquatic space, users and sports activities that are carried out. - Prepare intervention plans and protocols adapted to the most common accidents or emergency situations in publicly use aquatic spaces and coordinate the necessary actions that allow them to carry them out. - Propose behavioral models to the components of a lifeguard service that make it possible to prevent occupational risks in the exercise of their functions. - Program training aimed at the components of a lifeguard service on prevention, surveillance and intervention against accidents in the aquatic environment. - Establish the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the adequacy and efficacy of lifeguard resources in aquatic spaces.

It develops its activity both in the public and private sector, dedicated to coordinating the prevention, surveillance and rescue services in facilities and centers with aquatic activity: conventional pools, natural swimming pools and aquatic parks among others, and in natural aquatic spaces: maritime beaches, river beaches, rivers, lakes and reservoirs among others. Its activity is carried out in: municipalities (rescue teams, lifeguard equipment, aquatic intervention units), service companies for aquatic facilities and aquatic natural spaces, active tourism companies, hotels, camping, camps, sports federations, sports and recreational and leisure and leisure associations, educational centers and related facilities, sports ports.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1762_3 Management of Safety Resources in Aquatic Spaces, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all interested persons, either at a professional level or by personal benefit, in relation to the prevention and recovery of physical and sports activities at a general level and, more specifically, with the management of lifeguard resources in aquatic spaces.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
