Multisensory Stimulation Course in the Classroom + Therapeutic Pedagogy and Special Educational Needs (Double Degree + 10 ECTS Credits)

The multisensory classroom goes beyond being a simple educational tool for students with special educational needs, it is a controlled stimulating therapy whose objective is the integration of the senses and the improvement of the quality of life in all those people with a specific physical or psychological deficit. The general objective of this Course on Multisensory Stimulation in the Classroom + Therapeutic Pedagogy (Double Degree + 10 ECTS Credits) is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to determine the uses and applications that a multisensory classroom has in the context of education, determining its usefulness for the development of teaching-learning activities. On the other hand, the specialty of Therapeutic Pedagogy is dedicated to promoting attention and developing the prevention of specific educational support needs in students. The help provided to students must be based on the nature, degree of need and their difficulty in accessing the curriculum.
