- Define the art of karate through its history, its place of practice and the teacher, as well as the different styles recognized by the RFEK. - Know the different positions (Dachi) that are performed in the practice of karate through their characteristics and body positioning. - Identify the defensive techniques on stops and blocks (Uke), as well as their characteristics and the placement of the members who perform the block. - Describe the characteristics of the blows performed with the fist or knuckles of the fingers (Tsuki) in karate, as well as the blows performed with the upper limbs (Uchi), and with the lower limbs or kicks (Geri). - Define the different ways that exist in karate to immobilize, submit and/or reduce the opponent through the techniques of projections, dislocations and strangulations. - Analyze the ways in which the technical foundations of karate are put into practice for their implementation in combat, whether in imaginary practice (kata), or in real combat (kumite). - Define the fundamentals of karate that refer to the warm-up, the salute, the strategy and tactics that the karate practitioner can adopt, as well as the teaching techniques in karate. - Know the theory of training, as well as the principles of training and adaptation mechanisms, along with basic and coordinative physical abilities. - Analyze the regulations of Kumite, Kata and their appendices, as recognized by the Royal Spanish Karate Federation. - Introduce coaching as an alternative that modifies the student's personal lifestyle, offering a path to improving quality of life. - Acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the theoretical and practical development of the basic principles of coaching applied to the sports field. - Promote the development of sports training as an effective tool in achieving sports goals.
