Refugee and Immigrant Attention Course (University Degree + 8 ECTS Credits)

The increasing arrival of immigrants and refugees to Europe has generated a series of needs and challenges of a social and humanitarian nature, which require rapid responses and efficient solutions by the governments of the countries involved. In this context, the role of the social intervention professional with immigrants becomes crucial, since it has the necessary knowledge to address the needs of this population. Through this course in response to the refugee and immigrant you can acquire the most relevant concepts and intervention methods to carry out your job responsibilities in the best possible way. In addition, you can do it by the hand of a team of teachers experts in the field.

The work outputs offered by a permanent training course in attention to the refugee and immigrant are diverse. You can work by providing specialized legal advice in addition to being able to work as a technician in the management of social inclusion projects for this group. You can work in government institutions as a host and integration technician.

With this course in response to the refugee and immigrant you can acquire fundamental knowledge about social, health, educational and labor intervention applied to this population. In addition, you can see with special emphasis to the pertinent regulatory framework and the understanding of their social situation in our country for a better intervention with them together with the analysis of the importance of volunteering.

This course in attention to the refugee and immigrant is especially aimed at psychologists, social workers and social educators. Although it is a degree within the teachings of the university that does not enable the professional practice, so according to article 37.7 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university teachings and the procedure for assuring their quality for the degrees encompassed within the own teachings that do not require prior university degree for access to them, the purpose of them is The expansion and updating of knowledge, competencies and training or professional skills that contribute to a better job insertion of citizens and citizens without university degree, so it will be open to every person without health university degree of access that has an interest in carrying it out.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
