UF2007 TRANSMISSION MAINTENANCE AND TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS

In the field of transport and maintenance of vehicles, it is necessary to know the different fields of the maintenance of mechanical systems of railway rolling material, within the professional area rail and cable. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to maintain transmission, support, filming and elements of coupling of railway rolling material.

- Analyze the behavior of the filming and transmission systems of railway rolling matter, to identify its correct operation. - Study movements associated with transmission systems. - Analyze the filming system, explaining the constitution, function and characteristics of the different systems and elements that compose it (axes, wheels, fat boxes, bogie, among others). - Study the parameters associated with the rolling system that characterize it. - Analyze the transmission systems of railway rolling material. - Know the Motor-Eje power transmission process.

It exercises its professional activity on behalf of others, in maintenance companies of railway rolling material, in the areas of mechanics, pneumatic and hydraulic. It is located in the land transport sector, in the following subsectors or economic-productive activities: railway transport, urban transport and suburban by rail, other productive activities where mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance work of railway rolling material are carried out.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the UF2007 training unit Maintenance and transmission systems, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of transport and maintenance of vehicles, specifically to the maintenance of mechanical systems of railway rolling material, within the professional rail and cable area, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the realization of the maintenance of filming and transmission systems.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
