Course MF1147_3 Calderería calculations and metal structures

Within the world of mechanical manufacturing, it is necessary to know the different fields of the design of boiler and metal structures within the professional area of metal constructions. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the calculations of boiler and metal structures.

- Perform the calculation and development of constructive solutions of boiler and metal structures, analyzing the necessary information contained in the technical documentation, complying with the quality and prevention standards of occupational and environmental risks. - Identify and characterize the technical specifications that the mechanisms used in metal structures and boiler must meet, and describe their behavior, in order to obtain their kinematic relationships and type applications. - Identify the data that allows us to place the shooting, mooring and flip points of the different boiler elements and metal structures based on the maneuvers that must be performed according to the technical specifications. - Calculate the dimensions of the union elements (welding, screws, etc.), to support efforts and work tensions, complying with quality standards and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Develop the constructive solutions required for union elements (welding, screws, etc.), taking into account the requests for efforts, geometric shapes and required specifications, complying with the quality and prevention standards of occupational and environmental risks. - Define the tests to be carried out in metal structures and boiler elements depending on the use, in order to verify the required level of reliability and product quality.

It develops its professional activity both in the specific industrial design area applied to the technical development of the Calderería projects and metal structures. It works autonomously in small -sized companies and in simple projects, in medium or large companies, it depends on higher levels and develops its activity from preliminary drafts and technical specifications.

This training is adjusted to the MF1147_3 Calderería and metal structures Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals from the world of mechanical manufacturing, within the professional area of metal constructions, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the calculations of boiler and metal structures.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
