Summary
In Spain, demographic and social changes are producing a progressive increase in the population in a dependency situation, so it is necessary to consider the important growth of the population over 65, which has doubled in recent years. With this we see that the attention to people in a situation of dependency and the promotion of their personal autonomy constitutes one of the main challenges of the social policy of developed countries. The challenge of this course in protection of people in a situation of dependency is none other than to meet the needs of those people who, being in a situation of special vulnerability, require support to develop the essential activities of daily life.

With this course in protection of people in a situation of dependency, the technical and theoretical training will be given to you in the field of intervention with people in dependency.
